Holistic Gynecology

Eat HealthyI would like to introduce you to my newest creation, a holistic focus of care in my Gynecological Practice. For many years I have practiced a traditional practice of Gynecology and Western Medicine. However recently, as I began my course of study in Anti-Aging, Regenerative and Functional Medicine, I made a commitment to shift my focus on a more holistic, patient-centric approach to care. What does this mean for you? Well, if you choose to come to my office for the first time, or if you are a long time patient of mine and continue to see me for your routine gynecological care, you will find that I will be likely asking questions about your lifestyle, your diet and your activity levels, as part of an overall health profile.

With regard to my focus on Regenerative and Functional Medicine, I am now focusing my attention in the following way;

  • Patient-centered care rather than disease-focused treatment.
  • Optimal balance of physiological, psychological and environmental factors.
  • Recognizing that in order to treat “the part” we must treat “the whole”.
  • Dis-ease is about re-creating balance in the body.

In my practice I combine conventional medicine with natural treatments in order to promote and increase general wellness and manage gynecological issues.

Natural treatment encompasses:

  • Nutrition
  • Nutritional Supplements
  • Herbs
  • Movement
  • Meditation

I also advocate the use of these complementary therapies:

  • Massage Therapy
  • Acupuncture
  • Naturopathy
  • Yoga
  • Pilates

My aim is to help you be well, be healthy and to be yourself.
